Frank Sinatra – “Send in the Clowns” (Live @ Carnegie Hall – 1980)
I used to hate this song until I heard Sinatra sing it. The way he does it is so sad & beautiful. Probably the best version he did was from his 1973 TV special Ol’ Blues is Back. This one is great too, due to the Brazilian-styled acoustic guitar backing by Tommy Mottola.
