“Paradigm Shift”
I keep hoping for a paradigm shift
Something to take my life
In another direction
A major change
In every regard
Perhaps I should move far away
It’s time to break out of this endless rut,
This depressive state of mind
It’s time to leave the past behind,
Once and for all
This current life has run its course
I must obliterate the wall directly in front of me
So I can be free of myself
So I can live again.
