Bruce Haack & Esther Nelson – “Motorcycle Ride” and “Nothing to Do” (1968)

September 19, 2008 at 12:33 am (Electronica, Music)

Bruce Haack started out making children’s albums in the 60s with Miss Esther Nelson. Later, he became a pioneer in the world of electronic music and made some groundbreaking albums such as Electric Lucifer and Haackula, which today sound very dated and very futuristic at the same time. Definitely worth checking out (check out article below).
This is from one of those earlier “children’s” albums (The Way-Out Record for Children) – though it sounds a bit like some of his later electronic stuff. It makes me wish I had had his children’s records back when I was a kid.
