I was wondering whether you happen to know where to watch (or download) that truly superb vid, seeing that youtube seems to have retrieved it…
Too bad, for I think it’s a brilliant and quite moving performance — Monk nearly silenced, sweating as always, stylish in a blue raincoat, characteristic rings and hat, beating it out on Caravan during an Ellington tribute tour (actually not of 1973, but of 1969 — the YouTube not were erroneous)
Anyhow, if you indeed happen to know of another spot where to download it, who put it online in the first place, I’d be really, *really* thankful.
