Mutiny – “Lump” (1979)
This is another P-Funk spinoff band, this time featuring former drummer Jerome “Bigfoot” Brailey co-writing, producing, arranging, singing & playing drums. He left the P-Funk empire in a cloud of acrimony and lyrically their first album (Mutiny on the Mamaship) continuously dissed George Clinton. Even the name of the band was in response to his leaving the Parliament-Funkadelic fold. But luckily, Brailey brought the funk!
